ये प्रश्र्वया तरंगे सीधी रेखा में गमन करती है चमकादड़ के मुँह निकलने वाली ये प्रश्र्वया तरंगे जब किसी वस्तु से टकराती है तो ये प्रवर्तित होकर चमकादड़ के कानो में जाती है और चमकादड़ के कण अत्यनधिक सवेदनशील होते है इन तरंगो से चमकादड़ को पता चलता है की कोनसी चीज़ कहा है और रास्ता भी पता चलता है |
