electronic cigarette as "drugs" and as such has decided to ban it across the country.

The e-cigarette termed as electronic nicotine delivery system (ENDS) is currently being sold in the market as a product that helps people to get rid of smoking, and this is why e-cigarettes among youth have become very popular.
The fact, however, is that e-cigarettes are also causing ill-effect on health.
The device does not burn tobacco, but uses a heating device to blow smoke with liquid nicotine solution.
Users inhale this smoke along with cigarette smoking which is very harmful, the report said.
According to the government data, there are 460 brands of e-cigarette in the country, which provides more than 7,700 flavors of e-cigarettes.
Under ENDS, come products like e-cigarettes, heat-knot burn devices, vap, e-shisha, e-nicotine, and flavored hookah.
Notably, under the Cigarette and Other Tobacco Products Act, the government can not ban such products, but can merely control their sales.
In this case, the government will have to make several legal changes so that e-cigarette can be banned, the report said.

However, under the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, e-cigarette can be declared a "drug" in India. Section 26A allows the government to ban drugs or cosmetics, in order to save people ill effects.
American researchers have also found that this may damage brain cells or Brain Stem Cells. E-cigarette can cause stress in cells.
There are certain stem cells that perform specific functions for cerebral, blood, and bone cells.
If a person uses e-cigarettes even for a short time, then also this cell may damage cells, the report added.

After this decision came, many people heard the name of e-cigarette for the first time and some had heard the name but did not know what it is. Today we tell you about e-cigarette and will also explain why it was banned? E-cigarette is a kind of electronic device filled with nicotine and other chemical liquids. It looks like a normal cigarette but it runs on a battery. Its battery is chargeable. We can refill it and reuse too. It is divided into three parts. However it is now available in the market in many more designs. No smoke comes out of it, but it is definitely felt. It also tastes like a cigarette. Initially, it was said that it is less harmful than normal cigarettes, after which its craze increased in youth. It is also said that while consuming e-cigarettes, there is no harm to the people around.
The e-cigarette market in India is still low. This came to light when Sanjay Dutt demanded a cigarette before going to jail. E-cigarettes are manufactured extensively in China and from there it also goes to many countries of the world. It is easily found in big cities. By calling justdial one can find out where the e-cigarette is found in the surrounding area. Apart from this, it was also available online. Online sites such as esutta.com and freesmoke.com used to provide e-cigarettes at home. E-cigarettes were also heavily used in pubs and parties. Recently, e-cigarettes started coming in many flavors. While prohibiting this, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said that 400 types of e-cigarettes are being found which are in more than 150 flavors.

The biggest question that arises is why only e-cigarette is banned, why is bidi and cigarette not banned? Initially, people used this cigarette to get rid of cigarette addiction. But later it was found that it is more harmful than the common cigarette. E-cigarettes contain 20 times more nicotine than a common cigarette. Apart from this, it is also said that it affects the lungs more than the common cigarette. Due to its intake, cancer, lung infections as well as many serious diseases are occurring. Recently it has also been seen that many types of chemicals are also being used to increase its effect which is harmful to health. The use of e-cigarettes also affects DNA and affects the fetus. The WHO has already written to several countries asking them to take action on e-cigarettes. The Ministry of Health in India has been consistently saying that e-cigarettes should be banned. This cigarette is banned in some US states. Flavored EU in New York is also discussing banning it. But India became the first country in the world where e-cigarette has been banned completely.
